Re: Evans VP-1 G-BCTT

This Airframe is still available and at a little risk as we are moving factories in the next 3 months. This would be an excellent restoration project, to flight or display or the ultimate "Aid memoire" for future builders .... please get in touch if this airframe in good condition would be of use.

There are PFA annual rally stickers on the fuselage, lots of them ... My initial inspection ( Aircraft Engineer, possibly the last of the Licence without type A ...

Wood fuselage, metal structured or composite wings....? Plagiarise a current wooden fuselage with metal structured or composite flying surfaces. A FRED and VP2 that actually had some stress figures that made sense. VP2 fuselage with a parasol wing, side by side FRED ???? Lets not re-invent the wheel...

Re: Don Peacock VW CONVERSION PLANS

Have a full SR4 ignition package for the VW including all mounts and tensioners, new and unused and with overhaul certs for the mags.
I will look at the Leburg conversion and other CD ignitions.
I am returning to the homebuilt world after a 30 year gap and am very much in catch-up mode at the moment.

Re: VW AIRCOOLED 1600 ...... Yet Again no doubt ...

As the engine will require a complete rebuild to record the required data of inspection i am looking for "repairable" engine rather than a remanufactured one.
"That dirty old short engine at in the back of the workshop " type.
