My Eyes Are Getting Old!

I have reached that time in my life when I need glasses to read the GPS. However my distance vision is good, so do I carry reading glasses, try vari-focals or bi-focals? I have heard that some types can give problems, any help or advice?

Mode S Installation

Well I will be forced to fit a mode S transponder, and have to jump thro' all those hoops to get permission to fit it - plus of course the cost.

What if I make my installation "plug and play" and sit the 0.9Kg box on the parcel shelf. Does that make it portable :?:

New BB

Unless we get the old BB content back into this one, I will not be able to follow up or check any of the ongoing stuff I was interested in. Plus, of course, we will lose a vast archive of past pearls of wisdom.
