We had a bird strike on Saturday that seriously damaged the prop on our D62B G-BADM. The prop was a beautiful Chris Lodge CJL 110 70" x 48". Does anyone know of a similar for loan / sale or an Evra D11-28-4 which is also type approved for the Condor?

No replies - but in the absence of expertise the learning curve is being climbed rapidly!

Polarity changed successfully after removing starter motor and bench checking that it rotates in the same direction regardless of polarity (field wound not permanent magnet!). Alternator had been tinkered with to install a home made diode bridge (possibly incorrectly resulting in +ve earth output?)....

Can anyone recommend an aircraft electrical expert who could help sort out my alternator and polarity change problems, preferably in the SW (Compton Abbas based)?
