Thanks for that I just couldn't find a manual on the Internet.
I see that someone has used NyoGel grease on the upper surface to damp the movement of the nosewheel - but they didn't say which number (i.e. 767)
Thanks again

Europa tri-gear tyre pressures etc.
Could someone tell me the tyre pressures for a tri-gear Europa?
(Nose and main if they are different.)
And also the breakout force for the nosewheel to swivel?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Re: Your Medical - What You Need to Know
Booking a medical From 29/3/2021 you cannot just appear at your AME's office with a paper application form. You have to get an account (for free) with the CAA It's not that easy. I applied for an account on the CAA portal two weeks ago and have heard nothing. I have held a licence and a medical wit...

Re: 8.33 kHz Radio MOD Approval Time Scale
Wow, fantastic.
I know you guys have speeded things up since I bought my aircraft in 2012.
I wrote and thanked Adele Cooney, last summer, for turning my Permit Renewal around in just 22 hours from my posting it!
This looks like more quick service, thanks very much

Re: 8.33 kHz Radio MOD Approval Time Scale
we are committed to turning around all such applications within a maximum of 28 days from their receipt. Thanks - that's the answer to my question. Seems a long time to be grounded though. Thanks for the hints on circuit protection and aerial installations. I hope mine were clear enough. Cheers Chris

Re: Mode S Transponder checking?
Thanks everyone for your advice.
I sent the TXPDR off to funke and they put a new receiver in it and updated the software.
I put a new aerial in the aircraft.
I tried it with a Pilotaware and it worked fine.
Thanks again
Chris

To answer the OP's question will - old 25 kHz remains fixed in the aircraft ... need to be disconnected Here is a quote from the CAA website: Existing 25kHz radios can be left installed provided that they are only used for exempted frequencies, such as the emergency frequency. https://www.caa.co.uk/...

Re: Mode S Transponder checking?
Thanks for reply. It's a metal aircraft, but thanks for the idea. While transiting Aberdeen zone (Stonehaven-Peterhead lane) on Saturday, ATC restricted me to 'not above 2000' Northbound. Southbound they had me down to not above 1000' so I couldn't climb. It happened a year ago too, this time I was ...

Mode S Transponder checking?
I have a Funkwerk TRT800 mode S transponder, every time I talk to Aberdeen Radar they tell me they cannot see me. I have subsequently called both Edinburgh Approach and Leuchars LARS and they can see me. I have checked my antenna connections and found them to be in good condition. Transponder displa...

UKGA REPORTS EU funding for 8.33 kHz radio Tony Rapson, Head of the GA Unit said: “We are delighted our application for radio funding was successful.
