Sorry haven't been on site for some time so missed dead line. But it's happening everywhere, Hucknal airfield is to be developed it to houses and alike pending planning going through April time, as it is rolls Royce and their developer partners putting it in seems the club has its hands tied!

Popham crash

My first long distance trip was to Brimpton and then a short hope over to popham for fuel, Its was difficult landing due to irratic wind directions, but set it down with some relef, the poor chap and his passanger behind me wasn't so lucky. Haad a very heavy impact ballooned bounced 2 or 3 more time...

:? If I recall correctly, the bombs missed the runway, falling each side, only a few feet out, so the the arges made mud rings on the runway to make it look like we had hit it, and kept flying out on the same runway.
Well thats what I was told by the locals whilst I was down there.

Wheres the best place to get wax paper, for laying up my wing ribs on for gluing, fed up with gluing the ribs to the jigs.
on a happier note, I passed my PPL last month so I best get a move on with my project.

how much for a Quickie Tri?

I'm looking at a Quickie Try that has not had a permit since 1995 and the tail end is off, Revemaster engine 2100D.
Does anyone know how much it would be worth or I should offer or even the history of G-buxm that may help me.

I had a suzuki GT250 with one of those front brake reservoir brake lever and mirror mount, most motorcycles used that format in the mid to late 70s. broke a few my self.
