I'm not really sure what the problem is with stickandrudder/mouthandtrousers man is. If you are not prepared to tell us who you are then I suggest you've either got something to hide or you're just out to casue mischief by constantly whinging at a perfectly reasonable system.

Debate...

Also done.

Good luck with the application and I look forward to visiting in the Jodel and maybe doing some local soaring in one of the club gliders.

Holzflugtage to EDAX

Another year and another great fly-in organized by Hubert Eckl, this year at Rechlin-Larz aerodrome in north east Germany, 18-20 May. This is a big old former Soviet airbase and Hubert has organized a fly-in and a jazz band on the Saturday night with food and sustenance. There are bicycles to borrow...

24 hours is truly impressive, but then again, I've never had anything but very responsive service from the Engineering boys (and girls).

Well I found it most enjoyable. I Thought that it gave a good feel for the joys of touring the coountry, dropping into small aerodromes in a light aeroplane and the fun, freedom and cameraderie that can be found in so doing. There was a little bit of over-dramatization but not to the extent that it ...

Flapperons I do sympathise with your position in relation to the Airtourer. Why not make a case to CAA that the aircraft comes under the rules for Annex II and is not eligible for a C of A and should thus be moved to a national Permit to Fly. If they reject that and you feel that your case is strong...

Brian What a great result. This is the first I'd heard of the plan but can imagine the efforts put in by Francis and his team and Mark at DHSL in order to get this agreed. Obviously the LAA CAA Design Liaison Surveyor is on our side on this one and deserves our thanks also for taking the brave step ...

Hi Graham Interesting question. As you know I always 'park' my prop horizontally based on the 'moisture uptake' theory. I can shed no light on why Evra recommend never leaving the prop horizontal but would be very interested to know why Evra advise as they do. Have you asked them directly? Regards J...

CP, if you're not prepared to put your name to the 'truth' then that would leave me wondering why.

To my mind insisting that people identify themselves when they want to say something rather reduces the rabid, anonymous, outbursts as it makes the sender think first.
