There is no doubt that many airfields, including Northrepps, are places of regular pilgrimage so clearly a "place of worship".

My understanding is that the Telephone Airmet service was being withdrawn at the end of October this year as it was hardly being used. It doesn't seem to be mentioned in the 2009 edition of GetMet which can be downloaded via the following link :
