Re: Instruments article feedback

May I add another "no" if a bit late.
A useful thing you can do if you have mode C is check with a service provider that your reported altitude matches your altimeter.

Re: Kitfox Tyres

I may have the same problem fairly soon, what tyres did you start with please?
Why are they buffed off anyway? The Eurofox has tyres with treads (smaller though).

Good FRP repairer in SE?

Having replaced a 582 in a Kitfox with a 912 I needed the nose cowls (the big round variant) lengthened about 50mm. I gave the job to a local aircraft/classic car restorer (as I know from experience that FRP and I do not get on at all!) I don't think it's particularly complex and it's cosmetic not s...

Unused O-200 engine mount bushes for sale

I have a complete set of rubber engine mount bushes for a Continental O-200 (and some C-90 I believe). This comprises 8 bushes type 530740 and 4 spacer hoses type 62855-16. Hello John

It isn't cut for blades at all. I think it's intended to fit on the front of the hub. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a photo but it won't be until Wed evening as I'm going to be away until then.

GRP spinner dome 245mm

I have an unused translucent lightweight GRP spinner dome. 245mm dia 210mm high. Label inside says "Nipper spinner" . It has very slight damage, cracked near the point, not right through, just needs a bit of resin. Can email photos on request.
Offers please?

Poly Fiber fabric and tape

I have 8ft 10in of Poly Fiber medium fabric, 6ft wide (nominal - actually about 1/2in under). Genuine stuff bought from Aircraft Coverings. Has the FAA-PMA stamps all over it. Normally about £7.50 per yard I think. I also have an unstarted 25 yard roll of 4" wide pinked edge tape and an unstarted 50...
