Rotax Air Guide
! Now Sold ! I have a rotax air guide that I bought second hand for a project. Now surplus to my requirements but could be useful to someone. Not sure of the history but it's a little yellow and so may have got a bit hot. However, it's perfectly serviceable - make me an offer if you are interested. ...

Re: Jerry Cans
Thanks for everyone's replies so far. I'm going to look like a total newbie with some more questions: There seems to be some good recommendations for steel jerry cans and the stainless ones are very shiny if you can afford them. Anyone use plastic? The LAA article suggested that 5l was the max you c...

Jerry Cans
Hi, I aim to operate my aircraft with mogas carried in jerry cans. First of all, thanks to the LAA for the excellent article on fuel, published in the magazine a couple of months ago. Secondly, I need to get some Jerry Cans and I've noticed that quite a few outlets sell these with varying quality an...

Europa parts wanted
Hi, I'm looking for any Europa parts that may be languishing in people's garages or workshops. Would like wing and tail control surfaces if possible but anything else is of interest. Ideally after XS parts but Classic also of interest. Also, tri-gear conversion parts if you have them. Let me know wh...

Vinyl wrapping composite aircraft
Here's a question for the experts. I note that many racing cars are now being vinyl wrapped (the whole car) rather than painted so as to save weight. Can this be done on a composite aircraft? A quick trawl on the internet came up with a Pulsar in the US that had this done. The problems I can see are...

Yes, length of garage is a very good point. My personal circumstances are that I have a double garage but with 2 single 7' x 7' doors. The plan would be to push a trailer straight in and then rotate it diagonally a little to make it fit. I guess if the 2 single doors become an issue then I could rep...

Thanks for the replies. There's a few types in there which I wasn't aware of. The question was asked to see what aircraft could easily (1 man) fold up and sit on a trailer that could then be passed through a standard garage door (normally 7' x 7') and stored. It seems that quite a few of the wing fo...

LAA types with folding wings and trailerable
Hi,
I'm trying to compile a list of Group A LAA types (approved or yet to be) that can be trailered and have folding wings. The folding wings is the key element beyond just having removeable wings.
So far, I can think of the following:
Eurofox
Groppo Trial
Anyone know of any others?

Homebuild Aircraft fuselage build jig for Europa or other
I have a steel frame jig for sale that was built to assist a Europa build. It could be used for another Europa or some other type. The frame is mounted on locking wheels that allow it to be wheeled around and then fixed in position.

Hi, I have 2 lengths of 6061-T6 Light Alloy Tubing for homebuilt pushrods available. New and unused, each length is 173cm. The OD is 1" and the wall thickness is 0.028". I was looking for about £35 ono for each length. Also, I have two used pushrods made of the same material if anyone is interested....
