I dont own an aeroplane but look forward to every issue especially the engineering topics. As a retired engineer I have more interest in that than anything else. To have a fulfilling life I think you should attempt something new every year you are around. To Bill I feel sympathy for you a family mem...

If you are having trouble bleeding brakes one solution would be to obtain a Gunson Eezi bleed kit. In years gone by I had a motorcar which was very difficult to bleed This kit consists of a a bottle holding brake fluid which screws on top of your normal fluid container. It is then connected to an in...

I've just received email from CAA saying Mode A/C will be switched off at end of 2011. I thought we would be able to continue using mode A/C if already fitted or did I miss something. Perhaps CAA did not hear of the difficulties at Schipol

Buying /Selling aircraft Time wasters

Hi Folks, I dont know whether it is the same person but on Afors there seem to be a number of visitors who seem trying to queer the pitch so to speak to stop people selling, not just on the Moni. Someone trying to sell a Shadow had the same sort of treatment, the person asking the cryptic questions ...

Stolen Engines or farm equipment

There is an advert on the AFORS website for something called eezicam
to protect hangars and barns either singly or as multiples.
The chap advertising operates out of Otherton I believe
I guess if strips have to increase security this could be one way to go.

Stolen 912 engine

I feel very sad about this item as a couple of weeks ago I helped out at the Defford fly in. The chaps there are a grand bunch and raised some serious funds for the MAF and Air Ambulance charities.
Everyone there worked so hard
My heart goes out to them, I just hope the low lifes get caught.
