The link I can find after a lot of grubbing about doesn't work on two search engines. I thought it had been rejigged recently. Need...

Re: integrity of safety harness and lifing
Very gently done Brian. made a bit of a tiot of myself there. I checked the magazines twice before posting. I think my obsession is affecting my cognative capability! Obsession remains. Chris Overthe years the lifing of Tiger Moth sutton harness you referred to [10yrs] has condemned many perfectly s...

Re: integrity of safety harness and lifing
What am I expecting the LAA to do? If the LAA issues a safety based airworthyness alert I would have thought that it should alert it's members - as a minimum via the front page of the website and idealy in the magazine. So far as I can see this alert was placed in the airworthynes alerts tab at the ...

integrity of safety harness and lifing
How can it be that the LAA issues an Airworthiness Alert on Non-EASA (GA) Aircraft Safety Harness Integrity http://www.lightaircraftassociation.co.uk/engineering/Harness_sn.pdf and then fails to alert anyone! I learnt of this from the CAA consultation just issued with regard to lifing of harnesses i...

Re: ALL MEMBERS ! Please fill out those proxy forms..!!

Board members are obliged by the rules to keep the proceedings of the Board confidential.' actually its in the Directors Code of Conduct 'Except as the Board may otherwise require or as otherwise required by l...

Re: MODs once again.
Brian I could find the the classification of mods and the requisite forms and how to submit them before I posted but that is not a PROCESS. A process would define how a mod was received, classified, allocated and reviewd and in what time frames. For each type of mod there would be a target review ti...

Re: MODs once again.
Steve My recollection is that when the mod scheme was last publicised [ a piece in the mag with a view to speeding it up!] the number per annum was far less than the 300 now in review so it sounds like the process needs some attention. I assume that there is a process? - I couldn't find it on the we...

Re: Tracey Curtis-Taylor
more anoying than the truth economy that has gone on with TCT circus is the fact she sucked all the publicity and consequent sponsorship from the plan by Amanada Harrison - someone with the genuine intention enthusiasm and capability to fly solo to oz in a moth. Then of course there is Johan Wiklund...

Re: Members' Survey
so what happened to the 'other' and open box responses in this survey? It seems LAA only want answers within their frames of reference which will greatly constrain the spread of response they receive - positive or negative! I got about half way and gave up because the responses offered did not fit w...

I have a share in a tiger moth [and a Champ] operating out of Old Sarum. If you are reasonably local lob up there on any decent weekend and you likely to find me around flying or fettling one or the other. Otherwise pm me off line.
