Enjoyed a pleasant visit to the Breakfast club this Sunday..a really enjoyable event.This months LAA magazine has got it wrong theres no discount for LAA members on breakfast club days or any other day.I paid up the rather hefty £18.09 landing fee in good grace as its a very enjoyable couple of hour...

Calais now officially 2 hours custom notice following link provided by the airport today.Cafe is very good and I,m told
the airport are planning to have rental bicycles from about a months time.Landing fee 9 euro.

I,d give it an eight.Friendly staff,good restaurant/bar pleasant rooms and of course a great location.Rating of course has to be relative to what on the few occasions I,ve stayed there was a very reasonable room rate.Great to sleep so near to your aircraft and not to have to use taxis.VBR Stampe

My advice would be don,t ...that comes from 30+ years of wooden aircraft ownership.There is only one light aircraft that (relatively) happily lives outside and thats the PA28 family (I run a company flying club PA28 that seems to do ok outside )Expect maintenance costs to be much higher on ANY aircr...
