Hi Rob,
I downloaded this form and my CFI says it's the correct one, but like you I fly to France on a class 2 medical and as it is November I haven't done the transfer yet.

Re: Safe Storage of MOGAS
I do just as Brian says, but use a pump from Demon Tweeks that clamps to the spout and has a hose that reaches the front tank of my 117. Just pump away for a couple of minutes and all is transfered. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Shafted again?
I don't quite understand why this is posted only on the LAA forum and not on any of the other usual suspects. As far as I am aware the LAA don't administer BCAR section T therefore why ask the question here? Anyone browsing this forum might think the LAA is getting the blame for not standing up for ...

Re: Shafted again?
I have been to Rufforth many times(3 miles from home), as well as to Kirkbride where I have seen Gyros aplenty. All I wanted to know is, as far as "land clear" goes. How far can a Gyro glide say from 2000tf? Far from being wary of Gyrocopters,I do like the look of them and if any one is offering as ...

Re: Shafted again?
Go on then my turn to look stupid.
Does the reason for Gyros not being considered relate to their lack of ability to "Glide Clear"?
Can they in the event of an engine failure Glide any distance?
i just know I'm going to get bitten,but I don't know the answer.![Embarassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)

You can't fly to France on any license unless you have at least a Class 2 medical.

Why even think about suspending the forum? The rules are there for all to see and to change if enough support is there. As for Rod1 departing the forum over his nom de plume. There There. There are some very precious people on these forums and really do need to get a life. I hope the subject of anon...

If folk want to post normal "chatter", which is not offensive, obscene or libelous why not let them do it over a nom de plume? It is the "norm" in many other areas of the "net". The problem occurs when the poster is offensive, patronising, insulting or obsene. No name,no responsibility. I hope this i...

Not worth the argument, but anonymous postings purporting to give good advice to inexperienced pilots only to be proven to be given by a numpty without even a car license isn't good. At least using a real name puts the onus on the poster to either qualify his advice or be held responsible for it. I ...

Unfortunately on many other Forums, anonymity seems to give posters the right to be a little arrogant, rude and patronising. Not only on Aviation websites either. However having posted on flying forums and being retaught minor grammatical errors, which had absolutely nothing to do with the original ...
