Re: Farnborough Controlled Airspace
As Tom quite eloquently puts, we're all screwed! TBH I've replied to just about every consultation thrown at us for the past few years and two things have come out of this for me: for info, I fly powered a/c and gliders and live in Southampton so this will affect me. That being that, I am running ou...

Double venturi 1 regulator
Hi all, during reassembly of my suction system I was pondering whether or not to add in a single regulator attached to both 4 inch venturis (an attempt to get a 2 into 1 scenario) and if it is possible without compromising the volume of suction to all three vac instruments. Has anyone done this befo...

Phil Look here first though: http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/publications/technical_notes/goods-and-services-bought-with-credit.html I...

Another interesting idea...as I fly gliders as well as Light aircraft, loading the airframe with layers of paint/decals etc would only be detrimental to the weight and performance of such a balanced airframe. Installing electronic methods (Mode S springs to mind ..aargh) is a non starter as most hav...

Here here Richard! Horses for courses and all that, I just don't have the time to sit on other aviation forums anymore and chew the cud as I too, need to focus on more important issues as I am trying to get an aeroplane fit for flight (the reason why I joined the LAA/PFA). I don't think it is so imp...

Hold on here, I'm sorry but I'm with Brian here. I used to moderate on a public forum where anonymity was king and defamation was often the order of the day until it was closed. Generally most forums are tosh and threads often end up with a few idiots giving the human race a bad name. I work in the ...

Hi Brian, I've just stuck a few under a £100 items in the Sales section, I don't think many of us have much under £50 for sale as you know even secondhand items are getting more expensive as the costs of new continually rise. Do tell me to get lost if you don't agree, but would it not be prudent to ...
