Re: OFCOM Change Of Licence Requirement

I think I have just about lost the will to live Ian. We are being pecked to death by mindless regulation, I think I am about to be required to apply for at least my third valid for life licence and rating to continue to tow gliders. My Fournier RF-3 is sort of orphaned by EASA because Rene refuses t...

Re: OFCOM Change Of Licence Requirement

However, if you have a transponder, will it be legal to fly with with friends and family who are not included in the exemption? Owners and operato...

G-INFO and "Cleared to fly" Light Aviation

Funny old world. I see that there were 9 aircraft cleared to fly in the latest edition of Light Aircraft and that with 8 of them the Name and Address of the registered owner(s) was "Held (or even withheld) by LAA engineering". One of these RV-8 G-OCXI had a photo of it at Leuchars on the same page a...

Jodel D120 Fuel Tank Contents Sender Unit Removal

Hi All, our Jodel D120 is fitted with a single 115ltr fuel tank mounted behind the seats below the parcel shelf. The sender unit of which seems to have ceased to work.
