Stromberg carburettor

I am using a Stromberg card on an 1834 VW in my Nipper , starts cold , runs perfectly ,but not matter what approach I seem to take I can not start it when it's hot . Has anybody got any experience or ideas to help me ?

Good old Barry Smith , to the rescue again even in retirement. The tachometer required for Leburg is a "Westach " model 2AT3-2 , seems only Westach themselves in the USA stock this ! Has anyone in the UK got a second hand spare , it looks like a normal Rotax / Skydrive type instrument with two pins ...

Thank you everyone , I have more ammunition to keep trying and if all else fails as you say the "tiny tac" is always a good alternative and cheaper than keep buying different expensive tachometer's . Thanks for now. RiP

Tachometer for Leburg

Anyone tell what type / model/ manufacture of tachometer they have used for Leburg , looks to me like it should be the same as the one used for rotax with Ducati ignition ????? RIP.

John thanks for reply and ideas sorry late in responding . You were right after searching I found that indicator diodes were on the wrong pole of the ignition switches , now all fixed thanks . RiP

Jim I have made a couple of adaptor so to take Honda alternators and have a grooving tool ground up to cut the o ring grove for a standard VW o ring let me have your email address and I can send u a picture or you could borrow the tool.

Leburg ignition

I am having trouble with the warning LED's . When power is switched on to the two systems the LED's flash on and off correctly . However when the switches are placed in the off position the LED's still glow very dimly but never less they are still on , the system is not live at this time . The wirin...

i am building an Falconar F9 which is a copy of the Jodel D9. Can anyone help with the loan or sale of a set of drawing for either aeroplane please?
Also on the D9 can anyone advise is the wing fabric stuck on or rib stitched on originally ?
