Mogas specific gravity?

On the subject of Mogas, I need to check the float level in our Stromberg carb, float level is dependent on specific gravity of the fuel used, any ideas on a ball park figure for Mogas & 100LL?

We have recently bought a Piper Cub and the problem we've got is that the compass which is mounted in the middle and on top of the instrument panel in the standard Cub position has a large deviation that is outside the normal compass compensation range.
