John, thanks for the prompt response. I was unclear - I'm going to brave the A303 and go by road. I just want to release the landing slot for someone else.

I've booked a rally fly-in slot but the aeroplane is "unfit to travel". Try as I might, I can't find any way of "un-booking" my slot. Can anyone on here advise"

This happened to me when I had a D120. The fuel gauge wouldn't read full because the cork float was saturated with fuel. I removed the sender from the top of the tank and carefully removed the float arm (very fiddly). Having purchased a new arm and plastic float from Peter, I found it COMPLETELY IMP...

This seems a much better proposition than having Class D airspace gradually spreading across the UK. Doubtless a squawk will be issued on initial contact - if so this won't be much different from a "Basic Service". It would be great to think that some existing Class D areas would be reclassified as ...

For Sale - Avid Flyer Mk IV Cowls
I have a set of unused cowls (top and bottom) for the Mk IV Avid Flyer left over from a restoration project. They split as top and bottom and extend from the firewall foward - not from the windscreen. Presently cluttering up the workshop, open to sensible offers.
