Esso unleaded in England was certainly showing positive to the Airworld (Bluebottle) test earlier this year. Be aware that certain 'Premium' grade Unleaded petrols - 97 octane (don't know if this includes Total Excellium) test negative for ethanol BUT are not the same BS number as normal unleaded (B...

I don't think this would have been possible on our Emeraude (now damaged and belongs to the Insurer...) because the pedals would have fouled the firewall - they come pretty close as it is. Other Emeraudes may vary, of course.

With all due respect, I don't think that's a common view of group ownership. Careful consideration of your insurance policy will probably set your mind at rest I suggest having a written agreement you can both (all) sign up to - I thought there was one somewhere on the LAA site but I can't find it. ...

Croft Farm Defford 19th June

Rather late notification, but this well regarded Air Day will be taking place again this year. It's a relaxed affair, come as you are, by road or air. There will be aeroplanes and old cars. There may be an appearance by distinguished aerial visitors, but we are not able to promise that. Full details...

I'd give it a 9. Went there a couple of years ago (so info might not be current) and was impressed with the cleanliness, quiet ambience but mainly the aerodrome/art deco design which is just right and delightful.

Very reasonably priced too.

I quite like the reply you got on the pprune forum - if this chap is walking on an active airfield deliberately with his children, Social Services might be interested in the real possibility that he is putting them at risk of significant harm. If you call them, best to be totally open about the hist...

Thanks, gentlemen. I had already had a look at the Airworld website but the master cylinders shown (remote reservoir type) look nothing like our cylinders. I haven't actually spoken to Pete yet but will do so. What's actually happening is that the LH cylinder operates with the piston about halfway i...

Emeraude brake master cylinders

We have a possible issue with one of our master cylinders, which might need replacing or servicing at some point. Does anyone know where these items originated, and whether spares/replacements are obtainable? I heard that some of the brake parts came from 1950's Renaults - the drum brake slave cylin...
