Is the Airdale eligible for transfer to the LAA ?

I've had sticking valve probs in two 0-200s and a C90 the common thread being recent head overhaul with valve guides reamed to min clearance. Use mogas and after a few hours, problems. Back to avgas and prob goes.

Thanks for the info, but I am going to use cast Perspex which I can source locally. Polycarbonate is a no-no as it is almost unbreakable.

I am replacing the transparencies on my Jodel 120. 3mm screens are fitted at the moment, so I plan to use 3mm acrylic (Perspex) to replace them. Any comments?

Does anyone know a source of aluminium or fibre "power bulges" to fit to a cowling?

Thanks for the feedback, Brian, I wasn't suggesting for a minute that flight tests are not needed, just a bit of clarification. I've been happily doing them for years on my own a/c and club a/c in the distant past and did the CAA short course, and would not like to see them stopped.

Will someone from the LAA clarify this?

:? These methods sound a bit dangerous. How about if you measure the electric pump flow, and then note the fuel pressure from the electric pump when the line is reconnected. Run the engine on the mechanical pump at full power noting the pressure reading, and relating it to the electric pump pressure...
