Shame. I can understand the thinking and the logic is without fault. A reduced version without all the bells and whistles would have been a good move however. If anyone wants to go to a rally that is without all the bells and whistles (just a big marquee, beer, food and karaoke (and a few traders - ...

Hi BJ Best regards Gordon McDill Ps; Yes gentlemen, here we have a Council member and EC member bubbling along quite happily and welcoming each others types and interests. Two newcomers to my strip are BMAA types, no flexwings yet but they are more than welcome, in fact it would be nice to ...

Gordon, it was not the BMAA that pulled the plug on any further discussions.. Anyway that is not the issue. Further discussions were halted due to G-STYX. That is now over. Discussions now restart should be being requested from the EC, following its first meeting of 09 of course.. What the EC or Cou...

Thanks Welshman. That is an excellent example of what I mean and thank you for it. With regard to the comment by someone that JB was away resting after getting the overflight rules relaxed for microlights you should be aware that yes John Brady was the LAA man behind the request. The evidence to sup...

It is a shame that the drawbridge was lifted do you all agree? We would be a few months closer to an end product without any of the bad feeling created by the manner in which it was handled. As for a structure. I tables a suggestion ages ago. The suggestion was, and I used Sywell just as an example....

I dont think my aproach is antagonisic considering the manner the issue has been dealt with by our Chairman (and thats Roger) - I am sure more than a few are still suprised the BMAA would even consider this after what happened. I still not sure they will but I am hopeful that now the excuse, sorry r...

Absolutely - things could have been a few steps further forward. Still what has gone has gone and I hope that not too many BMAA members will taste sour grapes and the snub they received. The way forward is that the reason given for stopping talks, by Roger Hopkinson, was the GSTYX. Now that has gone...

As soon as you are able to put your own similar litigation behind you we welcome further discussions on the future of our two strong associations. Clearly our thoughts at this tim...
