Re: Rotax ignition interference

hi thanks for the advice re the usb chargers. They can give a lot of problems and it is not obvious. Often there is no noise but there is a loss of radio sensitivity. The noise that I have seems to be engine speed sensitive and quite a sharp sound. However disconnecting the alternator connections to...

Enstone Avionics phone no?

Hi

I would like to contact Enstone Avionics but Google and Enstone Airfield have drawn a blank. They don't appear to have a website. Has anyone got a phone number please?

thanks

Re: Rotax ignition interference

Hi Tony

Yes I still get the interference with a hand held. I have been phoning around to try to find someone who knows about avionics and also Rotax ignition systems. They seem as rare as hens teeth. If you know anyone in the South East I'd love to hear.

thanks
John

Rotax ignition interference

Hi I'm getting airborne radio interference on my Rotax 912s Sportcruiser. I've had a couple of very knowledgeable avionics chaps take a look and they have helped me remove other noise but unfortunately neither have any experience of Rotax's and their ignition and charging systems. The noise is heard...

Avionics expert for hire?

Hi I'm having ongoing radio interference issues with my plane and need a suitable expert in the the Gatwick/Guildford area. My usual man is not available. Does anyone know of someone who is in that business please? It is not an issue that can be sorted via a forum or phone call sadly. I've been stru...

Rotax 912 crankshaft directive

A new directive for the Rotax 912 has been issued today, which supersedes that of a few weeks ago. EASA EAD 2011-0224-E: More engines are now involved. My understanding is that crankshafts with particular serial numbers are affected but cannot figure out from the new directive how to check the crank...

I need some new pins for the molex connector that is part of the mounting tray, and which interfaces with the pcb of the radio.

they are smallish pins. If you look at the video you will see the pins that I am trying to crimp.
I can find crimpers in the US. Surely there must be some hobby tools available in the UK ! I've tried google and ebay without success though.
