Re: Flyer Live 2016
Hi Ian I stand corrected on the days, it always just seemed to be a 3 day show??? Re the head count I have noted down the reported head count by Paul over the last 3 years which would indicate somewhat differently, however if ticket sales are up thats great and I wish you a really good show. Kindest...

Flyer Live 2016
Just a quick note to say that The Light Aircraft Company Ltd will not be exhibiting at the Flyer Live show this year. To those who love the rumor mill, there is no hidden agenda, no we are not going out of business, in fact we don't have enough hours in the day, we have UK and export orders and we h...

Sherwood KUB
Just a quick update for those interested in SSDR's, the Sherwood KUB has now been upgraded with tundra tyres and a 50hp Hirth L23 engine. These upgrades and other structural changes have transformed the aircraft into a true STOL SSDR aircraft. The KUB offers pilots a fully enclosed cockpit, conventi...

Re: Grey Aviation
That's a pretty stock reply Richard, what I would class a a throw away comment. You know I think the LAA and all the people there work very hard to make a success of things, especially the Rally, however it isnt bringing the youth into the industry/sport. Quite happy to get involved, but we need to ...

Re: Grey Aviation
Well I am sure my post will create a rustling of feathers Grey aviation is spot on, I have a great deal of time for the LAA and what it stands for however we have a serious issue, we are not encouraging new blood into the industry and we are missing every trick in the book to do so. The LAA Rally is...

Re: FK-Lightplanes
Hi Brian I spent a fair time speaking to Dr Herr Peter Funk at Friedrichshafen 2 years ago, Peter wasn't interested in the UK and Ireland markets for several reasons, two of the significant ones were that:- A. Aircraft weight could not meet the UK microlight requirements and he didn't want the work ...

Re: Jabiru engined a/c Limitations
Ian, if you are going to pull the pin out of the grenade and launch it into the community make sure you have got both sides of the story. Forums are great but ambulance chasing and gossip mongering are counter productive. These acts normally involve people to waste a load of time they don't have, ge...

Re: Jabiru engined a/c Limitations
Rod1, who I think really works as disaster, scandle and gossip advisor to News of the World, has I am afraid caused a whole load of unnecessary grief to Jab aircraft and engine owners without doing the necessary background work. The cut and paste boy wonder has picked up on half a story without unde...
