I also prefer the type of attitude indicator that does not depend on a gps signal .

it could be because the Dynon horizon depends on GPS. If the GPS signal is lost, the horizon attitude is lost. (Try switching it on indoors). A standby instrument should be self contained.

Take a look at Quiet Technologies Halo or Clarity headsets. Very light and passive noise reduction.
I have the QT Halo.
