I see on another well known flying forum that the LAA have sent out an email regarding the Permit renewal system.

Am I alone in not having received such an email ?

They are ok for a couple of weighings, but make sure you have them regularly calibrated or have a set of test weights to check them against as both the "weigher" and the inspector are signing off the results as correct. ? I'm looking to borrow or buy an airspace aware memory card for the Aware produced in the early 2000's by/for NATS.

Any help appreciated as mine has corrupt card and still think its a useful battery backed up device with charts that I want to give to a wannabee pilot.
