Pitch Trim Run-away

Hi everyone, I am wondering under what circumstances a pitch trim run-away could occur. I have a Sportscruiser and notice that a pitch trim run-away is mentioned twice in the TAD sheet 338. The first is with MOD-338-014 and the words used are 'unintended continuously running pitch servo trim servo' ...

Alderney Fly In

Hi, Thinking of attempting the Alderney Fly In 26-28 June. My only overseas flight has been to Le Touquet and returned next day and I feel confident about the procedures and document for such a flight. I understand there are additional procedures for the Channel islands. I have been looking at the A...

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a definitive (or helpful) article for the uninitiated pilot wishing to fly to France.

Any help or direction to articles would be most welcome.

He said that a Permit to fly aircraft may need to upgraded (physically and legislatory) to continue flying. This is new to me. I would be...

Maintenance on an EASA Aircraft

I am thinking (just thinking) of purchasing an EASA aircraft CS28 or Technam 2002 and would like to know what maintenance I am able to do. I currently have a Europa and therefore happily and prefer to do my own maintenance.

Any advise or link to information would be most welcome.
