Re: 2024 Year Planner
Not sure that a planner is being issued this year. I have not heard of anyone receiving one.

Re: Shortage of inspectors?
What problem are you having Paul with the "Find an Inspector" page?
It seems to be working for me with a map of the UK with balloons for each inspector. Zooming down to a specific area and clicking on a balloon it comes up with the name of the inspector and their details.

Re: Manston Fly In
Kent Strut co-ordinator, Steve Hoskins, has managed to negotiate with the airport owners at Manston that we can hold our annual strut fly in at Manston. It’s in aid of a local charity called ‘Martha Trust’ which looks after severely mentally and physically handicapped people and gives them a 24/7 ho...

Manston Fly In
From ChampChump in another place. One for the diary. Although Manston remains closed to fixed-wing aircraft, the Kent Strut of the LAA has negotiated a Charity Fly-in for Sunday 28th May. There is capacity for rather more than the Strut fleet… :D We will be supporting a local charity, Martha Trust, ...

Re: Components/parts
I read it as applying to C of A aircraft plus those aircraft directly on a CAA permit and not permit aircraft operated under the LAA.
Could be wrong of course!!

Re: Noise reduction
Was that the one where there was a short length of pipe added with holes drilled in the side? I seem to remember that some years ago a competition was held for the design of an exhaust muffler and it was won by a Kent Strut member. I could be very wrong but I can ask the person involved when I next...

Re: Rollason Condor tips
Hi Alan,
My slave cylinder is different to yours and therefore my problem with it sticking may well be irrelevant to yours. In my case the the piston was sticking in the body of the unit due to the "O" ring jamming on rust which had formed.

No problem here, Rob. Using the bookmark https://services.lightaircraftassociation.co.uk/ takes me to the Forum index page only rarely needing to enter a password.
Similarly from http://www.lightaircraftassociation.co.uk/ >Main Menu>More>LAA Forum does the same.

Re: FINAL COUNTDOWN TO POPHAM
I've booked a rally fly-in slot but the aeroplane is "unfit to travel". Try as I might, I can't find any way of "un-booking" my slot. Can anyone on here advise" On your email confirming your ticket purchase there is a link "View and manage your tickets". If you follow that link you can cancel your ...

Re: FINAL COUNTDOWN TO POPHAM
Just for the hard of thinking - me, do we need to book both a slot and pay 12.50, plus a one day entry fee 10.00 ? Your landing fee of £12.50 includes the entrance fee for yourself and your passengers:- One landing fee of £12.50 covers admission for all on board for a single landing and stay of up ...

Re: My Aircraft Details section
Can I suggest you give the office a call and ask them.
However, if your username is the registration of your aircraft, I see on G-INFO that it was only registered with the CAA in your name a few days ago and it seems likely that the LAA database has yet to be updated.

Re: CAA Consultation
I fail to see why there should be any consultation until the CAA can show why it should be necessary. It seems that it will require much unnecessary work on all sides if it is to fix a problem which doesn't exist.
