That's nice.
Good useful load as well.
I wish you all the best with getting the type in with the LAA.
Keep us posted as to how it goes.

Opportunity - Airspace Support Consultant
http://www.lightaircraftassociation.co.uk/2017/News/ASC.html Well that's great. But I do often wonder how/why companies think it's a good idea to advertise a post without letting on what the remuneration is going to be! Is it worth applying? Does it pay expenses only? Is it a six figure salary? Who...

Hi Rob
Im 6' 1" and I drive Citroen C5
It'll never win worlds best car award but I think it should fit into the correct definition of GT cars.

Re: EAA Solidworks member benefit
The LAA have Strand 6 (on a laptop IIRC), Blimey, I used Strand 7 some time ago (2000) and it was basic back then. So strand 6 would be even worse. I've recently used Comsol which was really great but also really expensive. The only caveat is that with all FEA programs it's pretty much GIGO if you ...

Re: Aircraft Sale/Purchase agreement
I bought my aircraft. The document was I hereby agree to pay £XXXXX for aircraft G-XXXX. Signed Received £XXXXX for aircraft G-XXXX. Thanks Signed Unless you are expecting to get some sort of guarantee with the aircraft, I'm not sure a more complex one would exist. p.s. I was also involved in the gr...

Re: Documents to be carried.
Never really seen the logic in carrying original documents, as per the regulations, when flying anywhere.
1: they take up valuable weight
2: If you crash and burn the evidence has gone up in smoke.

Re: Liability
I think the insurers would say yes along with the inspectors etc etc They are looking for someone else to pay. For example, we had dedicated travel insurance for a holiday which we had to cancel last minute (long story zzz...) and the travel insurers wanted to know if we had insurance from one of ou...

Re: EAA Solidworks member benefit
I'd have a copy at student prices. Onshape is an alternative, cloud based option to solidworks at $100 per month. Before you get to that point you can use Onshape free of charge up to a number of files and size capacity. Well worth a look. In the spirit of the LAA, if you require someone to do the t...

single / two seat tail dragger wanted
I am seeking a single seat or two seat taildragger. Should be on a LAA permit (SEP / Group A). I weigh 112Kg so it should have enough weight capacity for me and at least 90 minutes of flying. If it's a two seat plane then the same applies but with a passenger as well. So if you know of something for...

LAA magazine
As it's just after Christmas I'm getting twitchy waiting for the January edition of the LAA magazine.
Any ideas as to when it should drop through my letter box?

Starduster SA900
I'm looking at a starduster SA900 (V-star) with a view to buying. Apparently the LAA magazine had a flight test in it of G-VSTR in the March? edition. I've searched on the LAA magazine archive but can't find the article. Does anyone have a copy of the mag and help me out by sending me a scanned copy...
