I don't know about the article but I used to use a Yaesu handset with Lynx PTT via an adaptor in the Fury. Similar thing I imagine.

Re: Airfield risk assessments

Thanks Nic

Someone on t'other place kindly sent me a template that should do the job. Nothing has changed in 20 years but should someone wander on to the airfield and come to grief at least I'll have shown I cared (maybe :D ).

Airfield risk assessments

I really don't want to be opening this can of worms (and hopefully when I do it'll be empty) but has anyone ever had to conduct a risk assessment of an unlicensed (farm) strip?

Re: Ignoring PPR

A Groppo Trail if you can find one could also suit what you want it for. Only tandem though I would love one but sadly out of budget. One on AFORS recently @£35k. Have no idea about Sauer engines though My bargaining skills aren't very subtle, something along the lines of 'How much is this £20,000 ...

Re: Ignoring PPR

BUT FWIW the Rans S6-116 tail wheeler ....... Needs a PPL..... Hey Mike The tailwheel certainly transforms the look of the S6 (less of that 'hang glider crashed into a clothes dryer' appearance) but they seem to be thin on the ground. I'll keep looking and have you down in my notes as 'S6 Expert'. ...

The Jodel group, along with a few others have moved from Yahoo and can be found here.....
I should have known that. I mean, I only receive a dozen emails a week through the group.

Welcome to come and look at mine (not for sale) - just keep your dog on a lead. PPR obviously It's a trap!!!!! :D Your offer is much appreciated, they're a good looking machine and for one-up wafting around seem ideal. List of Permit types?

It must be here but I'm buggered if I can find it. I expected it to be linked somewhere like the 'What is a Permit aircraft?' notes but maybe that's a bit obvious. Can't find it in the engineering section either.

Someone please put me out of my misery.
