Hi John
Thanks for the response. The inspector finder page is now functioning s it looks like that was temporary glitch at the LAA end or mine.
I'm still keen to know if the inspector dearth is local or countrywide.

Shortage of inspectors?
I have a project sitting in my hangar. It should be a relatively simple matter to renovate a few parts, replace some others and get a new Permit however it seems that local inspectors are too busy to take on another aircraft. Is it just me? My part of the world or everywhere? Oh, and the LAA website...

Re: BANK FRAUD - LAA STATEMENT and REPORT
Well Nic, in a way we got to hear the latest report before voting. Not in the way either of us might have predicted though!

Re: BANK FRAUD - LAA STATEMENT and REPORT
Several questions and concerns raised here by members without a response. Given that one of those concerns is the paucity of information and the fact that it seems to have been drip fed so close to the AGM would it be unreasonable to have expected a reply? Or are we just being made to wait until tom...

Re: BANK FRAUD - LAA STATEMENT and REPORT
Hi Eryl How are we to show (with our votes) if we are satisfied with the performance of Board members if the report (and there are issues with that document) has come some months after the event and so close to the AGM? While we have not been brought up to date on developments over the last two mont...

Re: BANK FRAUD. The elephant in the room?
I don't think anyone wishes to blame the person who was hoodwinked but there are some glaring details that warrant attention. Committees, including the Fraud and Safety Committee, that didn't meet for three years with no explanation? No apparent checks and balances on the movement of large sums of m...

BANK FRAUD. The elephant in the room?
I know this forum is decorated with cobwebs and tumbleweed but I'm surpised that this hasn't been brought up here before now.
Are we saving ourselves for the AGM, just pretending it didn't happen or.....something else?

Some Europa parts for sale including the horizontal stabiliser, rudder, LH door, ailerons, flaps, wheels/tyres, brakes, engine mount (Rotax 912), nav lights and strobe....... probably cranks and other parts buried within the fuselage that I can remove on request. The engine is not for sale. Perhaps ...

Re: Lonely aircraft
Evening all, What you need is a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel. Something like this...... Search through GINFO and find an aircraft that meets your requirements, note down the name of the owner (ideally a male, let's call him Mr Smith). Write your letter to him, be ...

I have managed to find someone who will manufacture and provide certification - all for under £80.00 - Ibex Marinas in Bury.
Thread resurrection alert.
Off the top of your head can you recall the length/diameter of the bungees?
TIA.
