We have now flown several times since we said we would "suck it and see" and the DI is always within a degree or two of the other indication we have on the Dynon. So, all well.
As Ian Melville says, its a pity the instructions were not more informative.

Re: AIRCREW INSTRUMENT
Thanks Dino. Today we finally managed to try what you suggested, although because of the long grass we turned the aircraft around under power - self castoring nosewheel. At first it seemed not to work. As we turned, the red circle turned green only between 4-5 and 7-9. But, when we took the instrume...

They came back saying, "Thank you for sending your Permit to Fly. Now we can tell you that you need an entry permission for ...

Re: Customs Airfields in France
Thanks Tony. I had explored the sia link you mentioned and discovered I could find out from each individual VAC plate but I was hoping to discover a list I could consult to save time when thinking about entering/leaving France rather than having to take much longer to visit each VAC. Thanks again. A...

Customs Airfields in France
I would be grateful if someone could let me have a link to a list of customs airfields in France. I have spent ages trying to locate one, without success.
