Development workshop

I have a full engineering workshop available for SSDR development and willing to help anyone. I would like to develop the Vanguard engine to 50 HP. I see they have 45 in the US for Mud boats!

Thank you for the replies. I have a MW7 with a Rotax 503. I would like a 4 stroke engine to replace it.

1/2 VW engines,

Has anyone used or had experience with a 1/2 VW Engine in the UK. Is 50 HP possible? - I see several plans and options availabe in the US?

Or would a 2CV Aero engine be best for up to 50 HP?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Intercom system

At present I think it is wired directly to the radio. Can anyone recomend a good intercom, and where do you get a wir...

We performed a top end overhaul on our Emeraude. It now runs better that I have seen in the past 18 months.

I have pdf manual for the C range contental engines if anyone wants a copy!

Stolen Rotax

Very sad news, were based at Croft Farm, Brilliant place. It looks like time to start locking up everything. Aero parts are expensive, generally light too. So not the best for scrap value. My guess is this engine will get used again. I hope they find the thieves. Very bad news for the owner & G.A in...

Magneto Service intervals

Hello,

We have removed our magnetos for service, they have done around 500 hours since they were last overhauled. What is the service requirments from the LAA regarding magneto service. Is it the same as CAA rules & requirments?

Thank you,

Glad it was OK but if you haven't already done it open the pressure relief valve and clean out the, muck, swarf or whatever, that might be there.
It may come back and frighten you again.

Graham
Thanks Graham, we will do that!
