I went to the last PFA rally at Sywell and the airfield seems to have changed out of all recognition. Very nicely set out and a pleasant day out. It was about the same size event as then, and seemed very friendly in outlook.
I enjoyed it.
There again next year?

Just a thought here, There is wiring and bad wiring, all wiring will short out if it is cut through and if you remember a Swissair DC10 crashed killing all because of a short in the wiring causing a fire. The newer type of aircraft wire is just a bit better than the old one. Be careful how it is don...

Nice to see that it took TWO days before Brian came in and put two boots down my throat. Almost the same as he does seem to Welshman. You would almost think that I was attacking him and not the Quangos of this country, which is what I was writing about. They are after all there for creating super we...

I think that this has been the problem in the UK for years now and it is the QUANGO mentality that has developed , where it is the imperative that the population is controlled to a macro extent. The god safety is always used when ever another 'freedom' is removed. I want to build a house, I need to ...

If all was well before the it is something that can build up and cause the increasing problem. If you want to check the fuel flow you mus do it through the carb and not the pipe leading into it. If you have a Marvel there is a drain plug at the base of the float bowl and you must check through that....

The various bureaucracies in various countries all have their own THING over something or othe...

Space Ship from Lossiemouth
In the Times they say that it is possible that Virgin might operate their space ship for Lossiemouth. How come the CAA would stand for that, they do not even like little aeroplane let alone space ships. Maybe the amount of money you have make a difference.

Yes they are the same providing you have the drive pinions. You will need a different voltage control the prestolite alternator has a field coil exciter and the older type is a carbon block unit if you have a plane-power one, then one is self contained and the other type has a separate control box. ...

Many times is correct, but there has been a lot of negativity about the moni, one of the engineers even wanted an alloy frame to hold the engine together from back to the front not the mount. I was assisted a lot by Jeremy Harris who did a lot of work only to be discounted by engineering, he thought...

Electric planes
I am most the way to having one, except for the battery and motor, Why is that? I have a Moni up and ready to go but never to fly as powers will not let me use my engine. That airframe is the same as the electric flyer in the States. The idea of of battery powered one would send someone into orbit. ...
