Happens to me, giving up on it until I see a message that says it’s fixed.

Yes, I get flipped out this forum if I write all but a few words.
Need fixing.
Might explain why no one uses this forum.
I’m giving up on it.

Re: Re-weighing
Hi John, Are you based at or near an airfield where an owner could fly in to get a weighing? Sounds like you are kitted out just like I imagined. I’ve weighed my own aircraft, used a set of scales borrowed and validated them with a spot test with borrowed weights. It’s not rocket science but you do ...

Re: Re-weighing
Jeeze , what’s wrong with this website. I’m looking into buy three pads so I can weigh planes up to around 750 kg. Would folks be willing to meet up at different locations for a weighing and then chip in on the price of the equipment? Thinking £30 a time maybe… Or, why don’t the LAA buy a set and ke...

Re: Re-weighing
It does, but it’s a recommendation. Until it’s mandatory, and they’ll need a good reason for that, you don’t have to do it.

Re: LAA Rally entry fees
I’m going for the weekend, will camp by the plane, £30 for me. Actually will likely go early and do a bit of odd jobbing on the set up, it’s nice to see it all falling into place. I don’t really mind what it costs as any profit from the weekend will stay in the LAA coffers. It costs a lot of money t...

Re: What should our expectations be for the delivery of LAA Mag?
I got mine on Monday though I dont really bother with when it arrives. All I need is it to have arrived so I can have a scheme of the landing fees before the new month starts. Is there something else which is date critical?

Re: Avionics malaise
Hi HH, this forum is very quiet and not much goes in here. If you were to post the question above on a number I’d other forums you would be bombarded with opinion on what to do next. As a happy accident though the only advice you have been given thus far is the correct advice and one I would support...

Jabiru J430 aircraft for sale in UK or Europe.
That is the long winged 3300 4 seat aircraft.
A friend in Europe, he’s actually in Spain, is looking for one. The longer winged version as he has airfield runway restrictions to meet and high summer temperatures.
If you know if one for sale please PM me and I’ll pass details along.
regards Clive

Re: LAA's Light Aviation Mag - Useless 'reduced' Landing Vouchers
The idea on both sides, airfield and Pilot, is to get folk to go somewhere new. I like the prompt to go further afield and used 3 Flyer fees in one day recently though I paid at one in support of the airfields hospitality and ate at another when I didn’t need to really. I always put them in my knee ...

Re: Manston Fly In
I’d be interested in flying in, always looking to increase my airfield tally. Historic location I’ve flown over numerous times. Same weekend as Spamfield and Kirkbride.
