I got mine on Monday though I dont really bother with when it arrives. All I need is it to have arrived so I can have a scheme of the landing fees before the new month starts. Is there something else which is date critical?

Re: Avionics malaise
Hi HH, this forum is very quiet and not much goes in here. If you were to post the question above on a number I’d other forums you would be bombarded with opinion on what to do next. As a happy accident though the only advice you have been given thus far is the correct advice and one I would support...

Jabiru J430 aircraft for sale in UK or Europe.
That is the long winged 3300 4 seat aircraft.
A friend in Europe, he’s actually in Spain, is looking for one. The longer winged version as he has airfield runway restrictions to meet and high summer temperatures.
If you know if one for sale please PM me and I’ll pass details along.
regards Clive

Re: LAA's Light Aviation Mag - Useless 'reduced' Landing Vouchers
The idea on both sides, airfield and Pilot, is to get folk to go somewhere new. I like the prompt to go further afield and used 3 Flyer fees in one day recently though I paid at one in support of the airfields hospitality and ate at another when I didn’t need to really. I always put them in my knee ...

Re: Manston Fly In
I’d be interested in flying in, always looking to increase my airfield tally. Historic location I’ve flown over numerous times. Same weekend as Spamfield and Kirkbride.

Re: Which countries permit permits?
I’ve applied to Spain and Portugal in the past month. Spain sent permission back after 2 weeks on the day I wanted it to start, that was for a month. This was using the new form on their website. Portugal haven’t responded as yet. I sent it to the general E mail address I used 5 years ago that worke...

Re: LAA GRASS ROOTS FLY IN SUCCESS!
Great weekend, thanks to all that made it possible. Especially the last minute saviour that magic'd up a barrel of beer on Friday and Saturday evening.
Topped off a great event, with a few positive aspects that I’m sure we’ll see at future Microlight trade fairs.
Regards to all, Clive

Re: LAA Grass Roots Fly-In at Popham
I've just done what I should have done before and read the News Page on the LAA website. To save you going over there here's what it says about the Rally: The weekend will be focused on the 03/21 runway with a large adjacent exhibition area, Speaker’s Corner, dedicated LAA aircraft park, camp site a...

Re: LAA Grass Roots Fly-In at Popham
I never thought of using the fly in slot to get through the gate but I don’t mind the LAA getting a few extra quid as they save me loads every year.
Maybe access by road with a fly-in ticket could also be clarified.

LAA Grass Roots Fly-In at Popham
I've just had the E mail and bought a slot for the Friday on the Eventbrite website. A couple of friends have also 'bought' slots. I was wondering how it's going to work regarding the slots and the days and potentially the weather? Maybe someone from the LAA rally team could explain? Are the slots l...

I have made a tentative enquiry with the Italians, well a friend has, to three different addresses including the general enquiries and no reply at all.
So even if you were send a request they aren't replying. C

Re: Flying in Germany and Austria with permit aircraft
Thanks for that David, that seems pretty clear.
All looks fine aside from the specific flights.
Not so easy to know exactly when and where.
Also the eye watering fee…..
