I use the SD MD in the portrait mode and the only problem I find is that it will only work in the North up rather than the Track up mode.

There have been two attacks by vandals at Popham in the last 10 days with considerable damage done to both the Club house the onsite engineering facility and the Hangars. The last attack was over night on monday/tuesday.

I hear tell that all proposals for allocation of Class D airspace will have to run as a RMZ for a 12month trial period. The allocation/imposition of a RMZ does not require the full consultation process of a Class D application. Which can be very expensive, as environmental impact assessments etc are...

Transition Altitude
I note the CAA are consulting on raising the Transition Altitude to 18000ft in both the London and Scottish FIRs.
