There is a lot of noise on the RV SQN regarding a consultaion email sent to a/c owners about a change to the annual revalidation proccess for permits.
I have not received this email so cannot offer any comments or suggestions. Have others received this email?

It could be worth investigating the various organisations who repair gliders. They may be able to suggest solutions

Can in my opinion be read to indicate we must use "released" parts/components in our permit a/c.

Confirmed as NOT a Scam but no explanation as to why it originated from a non LAA email address

I emailed the LAA this morning prior to 0900 requesting clarification
As of 1430 no acknowledgement or answer.
I am not impressed

I have just received an email from LAA ltd sent by "[email protected]" saying my annual direct debit payment had been changed.
The email does not reference my membership number and the increased subscription mentioned does not equate to any figure stated on the LAA website.
Am I being paranoid or ...

This ORS has just been published it would seem to me that unless you are operating on an ATC clearance or on T/O or Landing you cannot fly over built up areas etc.

I can understand this requirement for non radio equipped a/c but I remember in the past when a call at 10nm out was sufficient.
