Re: web site!!!!
I'm sorry but I must disagree with the last few comments. Lucy has been appointed as the LAA's Chief Inspector, not a web designer. She should not be building the LAA's website, it is not her specialist subject. And certainly not while there are on going issues with inspectors and the permit system....

Applying mandatory mods retrospectovely
If a home built aeroplane is built and flying, and then a mandatory MOD is added to the TADS document, is that MOD supposed to be applied to the existing airframe, or does it only apply to new builds from that date?

Re: 'My Aircraft' in profile
the new owner is supposed to inform the LAA, then it appears in his account. I've never sold one so no idea how long it takes to leave an account but mine was showing in my account same day so I assume it left the previous owners then? Maybe the new owner hasn't informed the LAA? Maybe he isn't a me...

Re: ALL MEMBERS ! Please fill out those proxy forms..!!
I've pretty much stayed out of this, but, now I find I am having to explain to friends and family, that my hobby and the LAA is not a mysoginistic old boys club.
I'm not happy.
At what point do the press articles instigated by Ms Curtis-Taylor become an act of Libel?

Sealant for fuel system pipe fittings
Hello
I'm in the process of replacing the fuel system in a Kitfox. There are a number of 1/4" NPT brass fittings to reassemble. I know PTFE is a no, no, but I don't know which variant of Loctite is the accepted. Is Loctite 542 the one to use?
