Re: Importing from USA
Hi Tony,
I tried to get some info but didn't get along with person who answered the call at the LAA hence posting here. I'm looking at the 'N' reg route at the moment as well.

Importing from USA
Hi, In the hope there is someone who can shed light/confirm the following question for me; I fly a Cessna C-120. I have interest in importing exactly the same type from the USA.However, I am being told although it is a recognised UK permit aeroplane, any subsequent import of the type won't guarantee...

Re: LAA Permit aircraft
Carl, That's because Cessna is still in business and supports these a/c. Hence, they're not orphans. Best wishes, Harry Hi Harry, I fly a C-120 and it definitely isn't supported by Cessna so thankfully resides on a permit. However, a C-140, completely the same as a C-120 - bar a pair of pointless f...

Re: Cheap Hangar Construction
Dear all, Quite by chance, I've been given first refusal on a Mcgregor Polytunnel this evening. I intend calling the company tomorrow to confirm the measurements given to me by the seller will fit my C-120, else, it will be available. Once I find my post -it with the measurements written on it (put ...

Radio rights transfer
Hi all I would appreciate if someone can confirm the correct procedure for transferring an installed radio/mode s, etc on an airframe when you buy it (yes, new boy here!). I've listened to a couple of contradictory pieces of advice so wonder if anyone has gone through this situation recently? If it ...

Re: hello to everyone
Hi Harry,
Don'y worry about my chickening out abilities...they are well honed
However, I'm finding ownership of an aircraft is akin to that moment when you get your first-born child home and you find yourself thinking, 'Crikey what have I done - what next - where's the manual?"

Re: Tailwheel Conversion Training
Hi everyone, Who might be the tail wheel trainer for the Suffolk area? I'm flying out of Beccles, have a great tailwheel Instructor who is helping me but he gets pulled by other places and airfields to instruct so need a back up plan if our dates don't cross as we both hope? Many thanks in advance f...
