Hi
Has anyone come across a fuel flow system which they have added to a permit aircraft (with LAA approval) that is not of aviation origin. I am aware of the various systems available for around;£500 (turbine meter plus remote readout) from various aviation suppliers but hoped some auto grade ...

Skyflash strobe light bulbs wanted
Hi all
I am struggling to find where I can source a replacement bulb for a skyflash strobe unit. Empennage type rather than wing. I know it’s better replacing it with a modern led type but for now I’d prefer the simple fix and then look at the more costly replacement and retiring in the summer days ...

WANTED: Plans for Pilot/Practavia SPRITE
Hi
I hope someone can help me. I am looking for plans for the Pilot/Practavia Sprite. I am working on one of the two airworthy ones on the fleet (BCVF) and may need them to apply some stress calculations for a mod.
They were not handed down by the builder it seems.
Either purchase/copy/loan would ...

WANTED: Plans for Pilot/Practavia SPRITE
Hi
I am currently renovating one of the two airworthy Sprites in the country and may have to do some stress analysis for a mod. However I was not given the plans when I purchased the project (I don't think the last owner had them either). I am hoping that someone out there has a set that they could ...

VW engine mount rubber bushings
Hi Folks
I have a split rubber bush on one the engine mounts for my VW powered COLIBRI. There are 8 bushes in total and these seem to be made from hardened rubber. They have a hole in the middle for a steel pipe insert to take the engine mount bolts.
I cannot seem to find anywhere who sells ...

VW Engine case replacements
Hi there
sadly I have just found out that my Colibri's VW engine has a big crack at the rear of the casing and will have to be replaced. I know that GPAC sell VW engine cases. However, being quite 'green' on the engineering side (i mean inexperienced), I wonder if there are any other decent sources ...

Hi All
I don't have an engine pump, just a single facet electric pump. This was how the airplane was when I to it. Its always worried me that a pump failure means I go gliding. There is no gravity available due to the design so its got to be another pump. Hence the question if anyone else had such ...

VW - Dual Fuel Pump - Anyone done it
Hi, I wonder if anyone has any experience in installing a dual fuel pump configuration in a VW powered light single seat A/C. I have a Colibri with just a single pump and it seems like a good idea to have two for redundancy. If there is any precedence I guess the MOD application will be much easier ...
