Re: AIRCREW INSTRUMENT

I used to have one and I just put it in cal mode and pulled the aeroplane around through 360deg. I think that was it.

Re: Kitfox II bungees

My Renegade had bungees that were whipped into loops.
If that's acceptable you could try yacht chandlers/riggers - it's pretty standard sailing practice.
I did my own FWIW. I did do quite a few tests before I was happy though !

Re: Source of Stainless Steel Piano wire

I'm impressed and I think I've now reverse engineered how you did it !!
LAS are sending me some as we speak - due tommorow so we'll see if it's the correct spec.

Re: Source of Stainless Steel Piano wire

That's really fascinating Mike, and I'm very impressed. Thank you. How on earth did you make that appear. Although I can get the part to appear by entering the number you gave, I can't for the life of me find it any other way - even though I now know it's there. Also I assume you just know that -P2 ...

LAS sell it
Thanks Mike, they were my first thought.
I've had another look and I can only see 0.090" in 'high carbon steel' not stainless.
I'm not sure if that would be ok.

Re: Source of Stainless Steel Piano wire

They don't have stainless in the length I need unfortunatly, or at least not as a stock item.
I did find a company in Sheffield that would do it but they want £75 for 1.5m.

Source of Stainless Steel Piano wire

I need to replace a couple of hinge pins in my flaps.
They are 3/32" stainless piano (music) wire.
It's proving very difficult to find a supplier, any ideas?

So far Vans can sell them to me but that seems a bit excessive!

Re: Hangar Chat

If you mean replies, you should simply see them under your post.

You can check for new posts/replies by looking for 'new posts' under the quick links icon (top left) although it seems to be a bit flakey sometimes.
Hope that helps
