Lack of LAA Mag 'Free Landing' slips...

Wot, no Free Landing chits in the LAA Mag again for the month of May? Bit thin on the ground lately aren't they? Surely the LAA has better influence and contacts for all UK airfields wanting to bring in more LAA customers to their cafes during their quieter days of the week/month? Maybe worth a ring...

LAA's Light Aviation Mag - Useless 'reduced' Landing Vouchers

In principal the Landing Vouchers is a great idea, but there is little point in the LAA editors sharing/printing the ' Reduced ' Landing Fee Vouchers - may as well fly somewhere else for less or even free. *** It's a waste of mag space IMHO *** (always disappointing to read) Also, most members do no...

TDA Trial - Drones - Goodwood - Choke points!

Just curious to know what the LAA are planning to do to prevent a major choke point in the south of England? Here is the Goodwood UAV ACP plan which allied to the Farnborough and Solent airspace has the potential to create a significant choke point: https://airspacechange.caa.co.uk/umbraco/Surface/D...

VANs RV7 Canopy Lock Barrel Replacement

I recently acquired a VANs RV7 aeroplane and the previous owner had lost the canopy lock 'keys'.... It is possible to buy a replacement from VANs and through VANs Forums at vast expense, and there are many 'similar' barrel locks on eBay and Amazon, but I am curious to know if anyone has a weblink to...
