The ones I've seen are the fire alarm sounder which are designed for use in high ambient noise evironments (factories etc.)

Hi Graeme, I have just finished my Instrument panel with CarbonFibre. It looks Fantastic. I made a one piece panel out of Aluminium, but thinner than you would normally have and then bonded a sheet of this Carbon Veneer on the front. The reception of mobile phones will be a bit iffy, as the base station Tx/Rx are very low level, they are designed to throw signal out at ground level and don't have much height. you can't even get a mobile to work on the roof of Canary Wharf.... You would think you would get a marvelous reception, ...
