I've just completed an Aerovee Sonex and Sonex recommend (I think now mandate) the use of Valvoline VR1 20W/50 Mineral oil for their Vdub conversions, I beleive because it has the zinc additive mentioned earlier. My engine only has 37 hours on it so it's a little early to tell if it's 'good stuff'. ...
