Re: private video
Why on earth do people insist on throwing large aircraft about at low level over populated areas. They may be very skilled but ALL of these flights fall into the catagory of 'NOT IF BUT WHEN'.

It is for a non structual door open stay repair. 4130 preferred but not essential. Non of the usual suppliers seem to stock this size so any small offcut you have ...

4130 Chrome Moly Tube.
Have just bought some from Aircraft Spruce Europe which was very reasonable despite the 85 Euro shipping cost due to being oversize. Amazingly enough it still worked out cheaper than buying from a UK supplier. WHY?
Thanks for the replies

We've a spare roll of felt that might do, at the Bristol Aero Collection Museum at Kemble - it was to re-bed the glass in the horse-drawn tram, and I think was around 1.5" wide, brown coloured, but they used some black instead. I'll look for it on Monday when I'm there next, and can find out the ...

FELT STRIP
Does anyone have a supplier for good quality 3/16" felt ? I need some to cover my tank bay ribs and supports. I need around 24 feet of 1" wide or 12 feet of 2" wide etc. Spruce have 1/4" but I have to buy a 36" sheet which is not that convenient.
