WANTED: High wing taildragger

I am looking for my next aircraft. Open to suggestions and tips, something in need of light fettling would be ideal. My wish list includes:

Permit aircraft.
High wing.
Taildragger.
Electric start.

If you know of something lurking at the back of a hangar I'd love to hear about it.

Re: Ignoring PPR

Now, now. I don't even have a dog.

Trail cameras are what you need, catch 'em in the act.

You're welcome.

Re: Ignoring PPR

My strip has ropes across the runway when not in use to keep trespassers off. Hence PPR is a good idea if anyone wants to visit I first heard of someone doing this a couple of decades ago when I lived in Australia. I was speaking to a flying school/strip owner about an instructing job when they lis...

Re: Ignoring PPR

I've plans for a camera but they have their drawbacks. For one they don't react quickly enough to...

Re: Ignoring PPR

I'm the first point of contact at our strip and regularly find aircraft there who have not called. We now have a note on the movements book asking people who land without PPR to get it before leaving, they don't bother either.

That's the third I think. I submitted one for a FWI* and he's been asking for his money.

Hangarage available Nuthampstead

Is this the right room for an argument? :D With the passing on of my Fury (sold, not dead) there is now a space in the hangar at Nuthampstead. For the avoidance of doubt, details be here: https://ukga.com/airfield/nuthampstead It’s a well kept grass strip run on an informal basis. If you are interes...

Re: Post AGM Thought

For such a PR hungry ‘aviatrix’ why didn’t she fly her Stearman solo in to Sywell,on one of the most CAVOK days of year, for the Rally? Despite her allegations of misogyny she arrived dual in a mundane aircraft alongsid...
