I remember that Beech Barons had VGs on the rudder itself the purpose was to give greater authority to the rudder before it stalled when used in an engine out situation to reduce the yaw, hence the single engine out speed was dropped quite a lot.

Sorry, I didnt notice the door missing as a aginst the two doors missing anyway my Champ had a wheel in the front. The same applies to both types though low speed means low speed.

Blocked filter on a petrol engine does not cause loss of power it results in stoppage, when the flow drops below that of demand the float chamber empties and it stops. only by reducing throttle setting and hence, demand will you keep it going. All goes to prove the stalling speed of a light cub is rather slow, perhaps he should have stayed in it to keep it down and the tail up.

We have now all heard about the sub 115 kg derestiction but how will it be authorised and who will Control the actual construction. difficulty in finding site

Every time I try and find LAA I get loads of things about local area agreement etc and no PFA ? site the only way I can get on is PFA site and link across.
At least before there was only the professional footballer association and polyurethane foam association to deal with first.
