The map defaults to a 50km radius around Turdy with a limit of 50 inspectors. It may be slow to display the whole country by default, hence the limits, which can be changed as John has indicated above. If would have been helpful if it was clear that a filter had been applied and shown the postcode f...

Great mind think alike or fools never differ :?: I too have been looking at the UL260, Cost as Ivan points out is the one area that put me off. I am well aware of what you get for your money. I wasn't aware that it was 3 times the cost. The downside for VeeDubs to me is that the are old tech, and th...

Ivan, Just to let you know my $360 is winging it's way across the Atlantic as I type I cannot find the message but I was not aware of an issue with 12'X4' sheets of 6061-T6. If we do have to get from the States then I would try and avoid cutting it to 8' as it will reduce the scope for sellling the ...

I think Ivan will confirm this but they are just ailerons, there are no flaps on the CX4 I have not got my plans yet, but I have seen a comment from Dave Thatcher to Ivan > I believe the CX4 will fly off a 840 foot field at your weight, but > you will need to make wheel landings and brake on landing...

Also simple person that likes things in words of one syllable  I've never used a money transfer so this is new territory for me, and this building lark is a step into the unknown. http://www.theflyer.demon.co.uk/icon_bounce.gif Weston Union looks like a £21 fee, which if it includes currency co...

Will Dave T play ball? Why should he? If he's happy with his design and it's selling well elsewhere, why would he want to bother redesigning bits? (he might even feel insulted?) I think this will be down to us  I will speak to engineering (hopefully FD this time) on Monday and see just what IS...

My caution looks justified :( Why has it taken Engineering so long to respond? It looks like I, and many others asked the questions soon after the realease of the magazine request for a prototype builder. Yet they have allowed people to commit themselves. I suspect this forum had kicked them into ac...

Basically you need a construction table 12" long, 3" wide and approximately 3" high (to suit your own comfortable working height) with a steel angle to one side of the table. The aircraft is assembled and rigged on this table - just as well I've already made one then :D Thanks, the table will fit, ...
