Anyone know if this is going ahead given the lousy weather forecast?
Also, what time would be best for a visit? I don't have the share-o-plane on sunday or
I'd fly up.

Re: world record attempt
Saw a slot on Sky news about his record attempt, they had his landing and a brief interview.
He's in a Mooney with oxygen by the looks of it.
Its mad that he can't legally buy alcohol in the states and yet can fly round the world....

Re:
Hi John / Dave / Ian / etc, I've just joined recently, West of Scotland is still in existence but seems to be split between Cumbernauld and Prestwick. Anyone know anybody in the Prestwick arm? Would like to make contact, since I'm South of Glasgow and currently a member with Prestwick Flight Centre...

Seems the answer is no, but thanks for the help with the dimentions. My garage door is only 2.1m (6' 10) wide at the narrowest point and about 1.8m (5' 11) high, so a kitfox is too wide. I liked that video, I learned to fly at Strathaven, nice to see I'm not the only person that bounces down the run...

Size of a Kitfox (wings folded)
Just out of curiosity, can you get a wing folded Kitfox in through the door of a standard UK single garage?
Anyone tried it?
I know it was a part of the design brief for the Europa series aircraft.

That looks not dissimilar to the Brandli Cherry. http://www.bx-2.de/e/assets/images/Max_Brandli_-_June_2009_-_600.jpg http://www.bx-2.de/e/assets/images/Bild_22.jpg Which has retracts!! I suspect that the both of those aircraft have exceptionally long build times, which might explain why there aren'...

Thanks for the replies. There's a few types in there which I wasn't aware of. The question was asked to see what aircraft could easily (1 man) fold up and sit on a trailer that could then be passed through a standard garage door (normally 7' x 7') and stored. It seems that quite a few of the wing f...

There is one near you - registered to someone in Blairgowrie. Take a look on G-INFO. I've googles the reg and looked up G-INFO, but I'm wary of using G-INFO as I don't believe the information should even be available to the public. What is the ettiquet for approaching someone via G-INFO anyway? I'd...

New member & questions about Pulsars
Afternoon, New member, (and newly minted pilot NPPL (M)) here. I've only recently qualified and have loads of questions so I'll try and spread them across a few posts (and do some more searches). You might be wondering why I've joined the LAA and not the BMAA, well it was the free joining gift that ...
