Hi Tony, At the moment we cannot publish any details until Nigel returns to us with the report. We have yet to decide if it will be make public in it's entirety or just a more detailed summary. I am keen that the wider public should be aware of the progress, but do not want to jump the gun with info...

Update from the 22nd Jan meeting

On the 22nd Jan 2009 we had a meeting with Nigel Bamber at the LAA HQ to move the CX4 project forward. The meeting was very positive, and the four attendees(and one apology) were please to see that the LAA is taking a pragmatic approach to the approval of this delightful aircraft. The meeting starte...

Hi I am just preparing a summary of the meeting. Check again tomorrow evening as I am a bit busy at the moment to put the finishing touches to it.

But a quick clue would be that we got our blue Inspection Schedule and Record books to take away :D

Has something changed?
Flyer has been running this as news as well, yet it has been known about for a while now.

OFCOM themselves anounced this before the 18th Dec and it was posted on the flyer forum then. AOPA is only one of many organisations that deserve credit for causing them to rethink.

I would be inclined to agree with you Bill, but will the LAA want a mod fee?

The advantage would be that you could make a careful note in the aircarft records(logbook) the source of the part and refrence numbers.

Hi I'm think it's off an "Off Road" bike as it has no Brake light switch on it, all road bike from early 80's had the switch. This looks like mid 80's on... It could be something like a Honda XR125 or similar, pretty sure it's Honda though. I also looked at off road bikes and found the Yamaha have ...

Also sure it's a motorcycle unit, IIRC black wasn't the 'in' colour until the early 80's In those days smaller bikes tended to have cable front brakes. Some of the much newer Yamaha units show a resembleance. Honda and Suzuki tended to use a screw-top. Cannot explain the French. If the VP1 was built...

Re: Rally

Is there any further progress on the possibility of the Rally?? David It was announced at NC today that Sywell was given the green light by EC yesterday (Friday). So they will be a 2009 national rally and it will be on 4-6th Sept 2009. David, see Steves comment above. That makes it a certainty, not...

I have been called worse.
By the way, my first Condor lesson was £4-5-0 in the proper money we used to have then. The instructor was an extra £1.

Model aircraft builders should be at home with this. It sounds like Balsaloc and Solartex :D

Is the finish opaque and available in different colours like the model products?

Before anyone says this isn't just an upscaling of model products, I know
